Mrs Dahill from Edinburgh had ordered a used V
registration Ford Ka from a local independent dealer. Her
part exchange was a Ford Fiesta LX M Reg with 60,000 miles.
Her garage offered £500,
which we believed to be slightly more than the price that
could be achieved at
auction.

The dealer was pleased that they did not have to buy her
old car and even gave an extra £100 discount off
her new car. The dealer had originally taken £100 out
of their margin and added it to the £400 that they
believed was the cars auction value. Therefore the dealer
was happy to give the same £100 back to Mrs Dahill.
Mrs Dahill suffered no inconvenience as www.moreforyourpartexchange.com
even paid for a taxi to deliver her to the dealer. Mrs Dahill
pointed out that the extra money that we gave her would pay
for her petrol for 2 years.
